THE GALLERY THE CASTLE WAS FOUNDED IN 1964 IN VIA CIOVASSO IN MILAN, IMMEDIATELY DEALS WITH THE MOST FAMOUS ITALIAN AND INTERNATIONAL ARTISTS OF THE '900.
After moving in 1968 to its current location in via Brera 16, it focuses on the historical periods of "Corrente" and "Avanguardie" of the '60s. She dedicates exhibitions to Ottone Rosai, 1968, Filippo de Pisis, 1968, Felice Carena, 1969, Felice Casorati, 1970, Victor Vasarely, 1973, Ardengo Soffici, 1979, Mario Sironi, 1980. At the end of the 80's Guido Conte's sons, Adriano and Marcello, started to take care of the activity and to host exhibitions of great interest: Gianni Dova, 1997, Giulio Turcato, 1999, Roberto Crippa, 2000, Ennio Morlotti, 2002, Piero Dorazio, 2003, Joan Miró, 2006, Lucio Fontana, 2007, Giuseppe Capogrossi, 2008, Victor Vasarely, 2009, Andy Warhol 2011, Keith Haring 2011, Damien Hirst, 2013, Armando Marrocco, 2014, Mimmo Rotella, 2014, Marrocco - Eielson, 2015, Sebastian Matta, 2016, Giulio Turcato 2016, Valerio Adami 2016. Today, keeping faith with tradition after more than fifty years, the gallery continues to organize group and solo exhibitions.
