HUS Milano is born more than ten-year ago from the experience into the world of high-end handcrafted then extended to all materials for interior decoration: customizable parquet for formats, essences and colors, handmade spanish tiles, digital prints on ceramics or glass, customizable wallpapers, handmade mosaics, custom-made rugs, handmade furniture are just some of the areas of reference.
HUS - from the Danish word meaning "home" – is an inspirational laboratory. Established in the heart of the charming neighborhood of Brera – Milan, in a suggestive location of 150 square meters with original interiors, HUS Milano is a reference point for architects, designers, interior designers who do not like to conform with industrial proposals only, where they can turn their creativity into reality.
At HUS Milano, every idea finds space through the daily research of personalized materials. HUS Milano is a real reference hub where to realize customized projects. But HUS is not for architects and designers only, but also for the final costumer. The company offers its experience even to the less experienced, accompanying them in the search for materials and the style of furniture that best reflects their personality and tastes, taking care of their projects from the beginning to end.
Also, through the combination of HUS Milano and Spazio HUS – the Art Gallery beside - the customer will also be accompanied in the search for the best works of art for every type of project (ART SERVICE).
From the union between HUS Milano and Spazio HUS, two programs are born to put art at the service of architecture:
- The ART SERVICE: a search service for works of art;
- REPRODUCTION of art contents on different media: using different techniques (including high-definition digital printing) the works of art can be reproduced in unusual spaces.
Spazio HUS is an art gallery and a cultural space created in a unique space with original interiors. This last aspect makes the gallery a suggestive place, a time machine hidden in a courtyard of the old Milan in Via della Moscova where a refined planning of: performances and personal or collective exhibitions is proposed; design events and presentations; courses in photography, ceramics and other activities. The exhibition space is open not only to the most famous and established artists, but also to the younger and growing ones.
Currently resent in the most central points of Milan and Madrid, the opening in Copenhagen is scheduled in about a year, to offer different proposals coming from each center of excellence.
