The Italgraniti Flagship Store in Via Statuto 21, Milan's central point of reference for Italian furnishing excellence, opens the long-awaited Milano Design Week with a new project by architects Andrea Parisio and Giuseppe Pezzano.
There are two essential elements of the Italgraniti space: "living" the great potential of ceramics and discovering them through a large library of formats, colours and textures.
The setting is reminiscent of the interior of an all-Italian classic house, where the light, filtered by the colonnade, punctuates the shadows that enhance the materiality of the large slabs of the Silver Grain collection. The same slabs cover the monumental kitchen with its rationalist memory.
As in a theatre, the boundary of the "stage" is marked by the curtain, beyond which the ceramic material can be analysed, studied and composed.
Thanks to the material library located in the centre, it is possible to perceive the multiplicity of samples, and then to deepen the vision in the micro environments and in the large slabs in the side displays.
Finally, in a dedicated space, you can work out your ideas and turn them into a concrete project.
