During Fuori Salone, Tai Ping presents Floræ Folium — a total scenography by Sam Baron. The French designer has created a unique installation introducing three original rugs, each celebrating the true technical capabilities of Tai Ping, resulting in a dramatic design solution that takes creativity to the next level.
Sam Baron revisited the very roots of his craft as a source of inspiration. Paper and pencil, graphite, chalks, brushes, and colours were used to create whimsical compositions in which our eye is invited to wander. Colour washes, strokes, and fades emerged during the creative process, from which the subtleties offered by aquarelle and drawing bore three distinct pieces: Regalis, Borealis and Anamorphosis.
Each one of these three rugs — which includes a mural piece, is an illustrated interpretation of the conventional floral pattern, where one attempts to recognize the familiar references of its composition.
